Experience & Focus

We have focused on running mentor programs for college sports teams for 10 years. This is all we do. Along the way we developed tools and techniques that make it faster to get going and easier to achieve success.

·      We make it easy – Mentor programs fail because they require too much time and effort from athletes, coaches and alumni mentors. Our tools and process solve this problem

·      We make it efficient - No need to hire an administrator or burden your super-busy coaches. We help you run the program.

·      We deliver excellence – Working with your coaches, alumni and student/athletes we build a professional mentor program that delivers dependable results

TOols

Managing a successful mentor program requires effort. You can’t just pair your athletes and alumni and cross your fingers. You need information on how they are doing. Maybe the athlete has changed his or her major. Maybe the mentor suddenly doesn’t have time. Or maybe the personalities are just not clicking. You can’t wait until the end of the school year to find out that you have a frustrated athlete or a disappointed mentor.

·      GamePlan –

Athletes and their mentors use GP on their phones or laptops to update on the status of their mentor partnership, highlighting accomplishments as well as areas of concern. This information, which remains confidential to the coach and mentor team, enables them to take action when necessary.

GP also provides a checklist of recommended tasks for the athlete to complete each semester, based upon their year and post graduate interests. Checklists provide a starting point for the athlete/alumnus collaboration.

GP can track and communicate job opportunities for athletes for internships, part time and full time jobs and come from various sources, such as alumni and corporate recruiters.
